Summary/Objective

The Inventory Coordinator position is a key role within our strategic plan for providing accurate and timely information to the executive team to facilitate good decision making on inventory levels. Reduce overages while maintaining sufficient stock levels to fulfill sales.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Design and execute an inventory planning process to build a supply strategy that supports customer’s service levels and inventory investments levels.

• Recommend and execute buys based upon demand inputs and other crucial supply planning criteria for all Big Agnes products (current inventory levels, factory capacity, and minimums).

• Partner with Sourcing and Senior Planner to build the forecast quantities and production plan for all Big Agnes products.

• Assist Senior Planner with issuing and tracking purchase orders and direct stock levels for all Big Agnes products.

• Manage supply and demand while following inventory levels and targets within the Global supply chain

• Maintain relationships with key factories, customs brokers, and freight forwarders.

• Continually monitor demand needs and supply timing to identify issues and opportunities.

• Manage and approve shipments to distribution centers in the United States, Canada, and Europe and Hong Kong.

• Working with sales team on inventory availability and close-out opportunities. • Provide analytic support to management and assist in decision making – specifically required inventory levels, sell thru, etc. Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Equivalent years of experience in a substantially similar industry may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred

• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Net Suite experience preferred

• Ability to balance short term priorities and exceptional information analysis skills are a necessity.

• Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills

• Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities

Working Environment/Physical Activities:

• Ability to sit for period of times at the computer/phone.

• This position will be working at our headquarters in Steamboat Springs, Colorado and is not approved for remote work

• Ability to possibly stand for durations of time.

• Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets
