Senior Product Designer (UI/UX)

Location: San Jose, California

Level: Senior (6+ years experience)

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to drive end-to-end design strategy, make live streaming effortless for creators no matter where they broadcast from, and elevate the overall user experience for millions of content creators. At Streamlabs, you won't just refine existing interfaces—you will establish design patterns, mentor mid-level team members, and influence product strategy alongside cross-functional leadership.

You’ll be joining a high-velocity, lean design team where autonomy and strategic impact are paramount. If you thrive on converting complex product requirements into simple, high-performing experiences across multiple platforms—and want to directly shape the future of creator tools—you will thrive in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Design Strategy & Architecture: Architect end-to-end user journeys for high-impact product verticals, translating complex creator workflows into seamless, intuitive interfaces.
  • Systemic Leadership: Drive the evolution, scaling, and governance of our global design system, ensuring consistent UX paradigms across desktop, web, and mobile platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Analytics to define feature roadmaps, validate technical feasibility, and align design goals with business KPIs.
  • End-to-End Ownership: Oversee the complete product design lifecycle—from early-stage UX research, concept validation, and wireframing to production-ready design handoffs and post-launch optimization.
  • Design Quality & Mentorship: Elevate the team’s overall output by establishing design standards, leading design reviews, and mentoring junior/mid-level designers.
  • Cross-Platform Consistency: Navigate and unify complex interactions across Streamlabs Desktop, iOS/Android mobile applications, and responsive web dashboards.

Experience & Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional Product Design (UI/UX) experience in a fast-paced technology, SaaS, or creator-economy environment.
  • Systemic Design Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Figma, design systems architecture, design tokens, and advanced component logic.
  • AI-Enhanced Workflow: Active utilization of AI tools and generative workflows within your design process (e.g., automated prototyping, research synthesis, design iteration) to boost efficiency and innovation.
  • Strategic & Data-Informed Thinking: Proven ability to pair qualitative user research with product metrics to defend design choices and measure performance impact.
  • Multi-Platform Experience: Demonstrated history of shipping consumer-facing or complex SaaS products across web, desktop, and mobile native environments.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Strong communication and facilitation skills, with a track record of driving alignment among engineering, product, and executive stakeholders.
  • Portfolio: Highlighting end-to-end UX architecture, high-fidelity visual polish, design system contributions, and measurable product outcomes.
  • Please provide your resume and design portfolio + password if it is protected.

Nice to Have

  • B2C Expertise: Strong background designing high-volume, consumer-facing (B2C) software applications or creator tools where user engagement and retention are key.
  • Creator Ecosystem Native: Direct experience with live streaming, gaming, video production, or active use of Streamlabs/Logitech tools.
  • Designing for AI Features: Specific experience designing customer-facing, AI-driven creator features, automated workflows, or intelligent assistant capabilities.
  • Motion & Prototyping: Experience with high-fidelity interaction design, micro-interactions, and motion graphics tools (e.g., Lottie, After Effects, ProtoPie).
  • Technical Depth: Solid understanding of front-end web and desktop technologies (HTML/CSS, React, Electron, Swift) to bridge the gap with engineering.
