We’re looking for a Junior Studio Photographer to support studio photography production across a range of product and campaign needs. The Studio Photographer will work in the in-house photo studio and supports the creation of high-quality product and campaign images for marketing, web, and sales support materials. Ability to both style and photograph the product, while acting as grip, electric and digital tech are important aspects of the role. You’ll work closely with content production, creative teams and product teams, under the guidance of the senior studio photographer to execute studio photography aligned with YETI product standards and guidelines.

What You'll Do

  • Capture product imagery for ecommerce and other in-studio needs, following established shot lists and guidelines
  • Style & Shoot product at in-house studio, in coordination with photo studio team
  • Work with senior photographer to make sure everything is shot matching current style of YETI studio photography
  • Deliver raw images to internal retouching team, ensuring photos are being shot to their needs.
  • Collaborate with photo studio team on shoot schedule and retouching timing, with flexibility & understanding for shifting priorities
  • Work within our product style guidelines, ensuring consistence and alignment for all images and file names
  • Contribute to manual labor such as set break down, moving product, etc.
  • Understand deadlines and schedules in order to prioritize product shoots

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Greater than 2 years of experience in studio photography
  • Experience with shooting consumer products is required
  • Familiar with Photoshop and CaptureOne action sets, image resolution, color space, and image file formats
  • Understanding of lighting, reflections, materials, textures, and how they affect color
  • Strong visual skills, attention to detail and an eye for consistency and color
  • Strong knowledge in studio lighting
  • Ability to manage assigned work effectively while working under general direction and established processes
  • Proficient with studio lighting, color balance, exposure, and composition
  • Responsive to constructive criticism and humbly accept design direction
  • Previous experience working at an agency or with an in-house creative team or brand a plus
  • You love process, details & organization—your file naming & storage is your pride
  • Always have a great positive attitude
